At Piazza Città di Lombardia, the Finemateria team will create an original set design, a tribute to slowness. It will be called Slow life a project that will transform the public space at the foot of the Palazzo di Regione Lombardia into an urban (designer) living room dedicated to individuality and community. Commissioned by Isola Design District, the work will feature products from 16 designers to help create a creative project inspired in terms of functionality and aesthetics by a Japanese home. To come in slow life it will be rest and comfort. This will overcome the superficial visual perception we are used to, especially in the chaotic days of Fuorisalone, and allow time to become superfluous so that the ticking of the clock is no longer an issue. In a word, space for design, on the square.

Thus, the architect and his studio, founded with Giorgio Dona – Stefano Boeri Interiors – in the days of Fuorisalone will contribute to the creation of a floating forest (already chattering along the corridors of the city). This work, created for Timberland, was born from the idea of emphasizing the importance of the ecosystem in which we live – truly feeling like a part of it – in the spirit of participating in a sincere dialogue between humanity and nature.
